On November 8, 2023, Dr. Zhu Junjie, a senior researcher at the Norway’s Institute for Energy Technology (IFE), and Anders Besvold Hansen, CEO , J?rgen Young, R&D Director, and Hans Magnus Dahlsrud, technical manager of Isola Solar, visited Suzhou Talesun Solar Technologies Co., Ltd. They were accompanied by Talesun Solar R&D Director Qian Hongqiang in the visit, and had an exchange panel.
Talesun Solar and the visiting Norwegian party jointly undertook the inter-governmental bilateral cooperation innovation project of Jiangsu Province. The visit by the Norwegian side was the first face-to-face technical exchange since the pandemic control measures were fully lifted. At the meeting, the two sides had in-depth discussions and shared on the cooperation content, technological innovation breakthroughs and main application demonstrations. They proposed a variety of structural design ideas for the application of solar energy systems for buildings on external walls and roofs, and launched a case study of a collaborated double-sided module demonstration power station, which has the function of snow removal and the capacity to improve overall power generation in snowy weather in Norway. Finally, the two sides exchanged views on further in-depth technological innovation cooperation.
The visit and exchange of the Norwegian team played an important role in promoting the scientific and technological innovation cooperation of efficient and low-cost photovoltaic products between the two sides. In the future, they will carry out more extensive and in-depth bilateral and multilateral international scientific and technological cooperation in this field, to contribute to the global energy transformation.
